Block Paving Sealing

Block paving cleaning and sealing is generally done in 3 Steps -

Step 1: We clean the block paved area using a high powered rotary headed jet washer to clear the surface of weeds, moss, algae, dirt and general staining that may have accumulated over time. We would also treat and remove oil and diesel stains at this stage.

Step 2: We sweep pure kiln dried sand into the joints of the block paving to stop any lateral movement. Care is taken to make sure no sand remains on the surface and is packed tightly between each paver.

Step 3: We then spray* Smartseal acrylic block paving sealer onto the surface of the block paving. This will give the block paving a very durable coating to provide lasting protection.

* The block paving sealer is sprayed in two coats to make sure each individual block and surrounding sand is well saturated, to give it the most protective covering.

Please note: To get the best cleaning results, we would also advise treating the paved area with weed killer or fungicidal wash approx. 5 -7 days before pressure cleaning.
